How MauriSync collects, uses and protects information about visitors to this site and clients we work with.
1. Who we are
MauriSync Energy & Minerals is a Mauritanian advisory firm registered in Nouakchott, Islamic Republic of Mauritania. Reach us at admin@maurisync.com.
2. What we collect
We collect three things only. (1) Information you give us directly when you contact us, register interest, or sign a client engagement, such as your name, organization, email, and phone number. (2) Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) needed to keep the site running and secure. (3) If you accept analytics cookies, anonymous usage data so we know which sectors investors care about.
3. Cookies & local storage
Essential cookies keep this site working (language preference, cookie consent itself). These are always on. Analytics cookies are only set if you select Accept all on the cookie banner. They collect aggregate, anonymous data about how the site is used. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer.
4. How we use your data
We use the information you give us to respond to inquiries, deliver client work, send you the briefings or drafts you have requested, and meet our legal and contractual obligations. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except where required to deliver a service you have asked for, or where required by law.
5. Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct, export, or delete the data we hold on you at any time. Email admin@maurisync.com and we will respond within thirty days. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
6. Retention
We keep inquiry and client data for as long as needed to deliver the service plus a standard archival period. Server logs are rotated. Analytics data is retained in aggregate only.
7. Changes
We will post any material change to this policy here and update the date below. For substantive changes affecting active clients, we will notify by email.
